Privacy Policy

Plain English: we collect what we need to deliver the book and route you to the right help, we don't sell your information to data brokers, and we honor the consent box you checked (or didn't).

What we collect

At purchase: your email, billing address (handled by Stripe), and the payment record. We do not store full card numbers — Stripe does.
At activation: the survey responses you submit on /activate.html — decedent name, county, will status, estate-value range, attorney status, and your explicit consent (or non-consent) to partner introductions.
During use: page views, click events, email opens — through Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, PostHog, and Microsoft Clarity. Standard analytics; you can block these with any browser ad blocker.

How we use it

To deliver your PDF and the 5-email welcome sequence.
To route you to vetted partners (probate attorneys, realtors, financial advisors) only if you opted in on the activation survey. If you didn't check that box, no partner ever receives your data.
To improve the playbook based on the day-30 feedback survey, if you choose to submit one.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information to data brokers.
We don't share your survey responses with anyone you didn't explicitly opt in to.
We don't run targeted ads against your activity on other websites beyond the standard Meta/Google retargeting pixels that fire when you visit the public pages.

Cookies

We use cookies for: payment session state (Stripe), analytics (GA4, Meta Pixel, PostHog, Clarity), and remembering your A/B test variant if any. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still work, but the analytics will stop.

Your rights

Access: email tyler@inheritedhomesfl.com and we'll send you everything we have on file within 7 days.
Deletion: same email. We'll delete your record within 30 days, except where retention is required for tax/legal reasons (typically Stripe transaction records for 7 years).
Unsubscribe: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. You can also reply "stop" to any email.
Withdraw consent: if you opted in to partner introductions and changed your mind, email us. We'll mark your record as opted-out and notify any partner we already introduced.

Data retention

Customer records: kept for 7 years for tax/legal purposes (Stripe requirement). Survey responses: kept as long as you remain a customer; deleted on request. Analytics: standard Google/Meta retention windows (typically 14-26 months).

Third parties we use

Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Resend (email), Netlify (hosting), Meta (Pixel + CAPI analytics), Google Analytics, PostHog (product analytics), Microsoft Clarity (session recording, sampled), Apify (research). Each has its own privacy policy; we share with them only what's strictly required to deliver the service.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we'll email everyone on the customer list at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
